Biography

Born and raised in Miami, Florida, Eduardo Delgado was drawn to the life of a musician as a young boy. After picking up a clarinet at the age of eleven, Eduardo commenced his junior musical career. Learning the fundamentals set Eduardo up for success in his years to come.

High School

Throughout high school Eduardo studied intensely under University of Miami graduate Steve Castro. His studies and countless hours of practice earned him a series of respectable spots in many prestigious bands. In 2004 Eduardo was principal clarinetist in the University of South Florida Festival and again in 2006. For all his endeavors, and being a recipient of the Bands of America, Eduardo was endowed by Yamaha Corporations, a grand conclusion to a successful year. In 2006, Eduardo was principal clarinetist for the South Florida Honor Band in Miami and concluded the year by graduating from Miami Killian Senior High School.

University

After his acceptance into the Florida State University Music Program, Eduardo has been under the instruction of Dr. Deborah Bish, Associate Professor of Clarinet. Eduardo currently continues his musical studies at Florida State University and hopes to achieve more in the upcoming years.
